Unmistakably Authentic
The Coney
The Coney is Boardwalk Entertainment’s flagship vintage-style photo booth. It is the closest you will come to stepping inside a true mid-century photo booth without walking into a museum.
Inspired by the iconic Auto-Photo Model 12 and built in Chicago using genuine vintage parts, The Coney is not a themed replica. It is a faithful recreation of the real thing.
With its checkerboard floor, spinning pan seat, half curtains, finished roof, and original door complete with coin slots, The Coney feels like it was lifted straight from a 1960s boardwalk.
This is not just a photo booth.
It is a presence in the room.
Designed to Be the Centerpiece
The Coney is intentionally not fully enclosed. It keeps the open seating style of classic Auto-Photo booths, allowing guests to gather, watch, and anticipate the moment.
The chrome details catch the light.
The retro signage draws attention.
The spinning pan seat invites people in.
Guests notice it immediately. Bridesmaids pile in and spin the seat. Parents smile and say, “I remember these.” A small crowd forms as everyone waits for the strip to print.
It becomes part of the atmosphere. Not tucked in a corner. Not hidden behind drape. It lives in the room.
Whether it is set up in Huber Court at the Chrysler Museum of Art, inside The Cavalier Hotel, under the stars at Hermitage Museum & Gardens, or on the Kitty Hawk Pier, The Coney turns heads before the first photo is even taken.
The Original Photo Booth Experience
There are no digital previews. No screens. No do-overs. No retakes.
Your preview is your reflection in the glass just before the flash fires.
Guests do not see their photos until the strip prints. That anticipation, that surprise, that little gasp when the prints slide out is part of what made photo booths iconic in the first place.
The Coney keeps that magic intact.
Modern Reliability Inside
Behind the retro build of The Coney is a professional Canon camera, balanced studio lighting, and a dye-sublimation printer that produces sharp, water- and fingerprint-resistant photo strips in seconds.
It looks like 1962.
It performs like 2026.
One of a Kind
Boardwalk operates eight Model 14 vintage-style enclosed booths and three Beacon open-air booths.
There is only one Coney.
Because of its one-of-a-kind build, availability is limited, especially during peak wedding season.
For couples who want the real thing.
For hosts who want something their guests have never seen before.
For rooms that deserve a statement piece.
The Coney stands alone.
